StoneWater 's Elements of Movement Series- 6:00pm- 7:00pm First 4 Fridays in AUGUST 2019

Mobility and Stability are the core to proper movement. If there is an imbalance of the joint such as the joint has lost range of motion or is the body is unable to maintain stability often proper movement can not be achieved and the likelihood of injury increases. 

The balanced movement series will walk you through how to identify imbalances in your own movement as well as address those imbalances with strengthening or mobility exercises to help you take your fitness to a higher level. 

The Series will be broken into four parts:

                                 Introduction and Identifying movement imbalances 

                                 Upper body movement

                                 Lower body movement

                                 Foot and Ankle Movement

 

During each class we will take time to check our movement, apply the concepts, and ask questions. 

The goal of each class is to give you simple movement exercises that you can incorporate into your routine to help improve you movement quality. 

La Lache League @ The Kula Center

August 10th from 1:00 -3:00 pm 

The Kula Center will be host and an information and donation drive for the La Lache League of Indiana. 

The mission of La Leche League is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.

La Leche League is an international, non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

La Leche League is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by the law.

Your donation will help to support our local Groups and La Leche League International in promoting our mission, ensuring that mothers today, and for generations to come, will have vital access to free and ongoing breastfeeding support.

Coming Soon- Stretching; Why, When ,How.

There are alot of myths and lore about stretching out there in the sports and recreation community. It is no wonder that most of us are left wondering is it even necessary. 

This Class will focus debunking some myths about stretching and demonstrate that there is a time and place for each type of stretch ( yes there are types of stretches) that if done correctly can help improve your athleticism, prevent injury, and even be used to treat injuries.
